With over 30 years of experience in the seafood industry, from fish mongering and preparation for local and overseas markets, to providing fresh seafood to communities around the Wellington region, our family has proudly crafted “old school” fish and chips that are sure to satisfy your cravings.

I consider myself somewhat of a fish and chip connoisseur, and let me tell you, this place exceeded all my expectations. The fish was flaky and moist, encased in a light and crispy batter, and the chips were the perfect balance of crispy and fluffy. 20 Years in the making!
Our journey began with our father, a seasoned fish monger with a wealth of knowledge passed down from his parents (our grandparents(who migrated to New Zealand / Aotearoa from Greece, who also dedicated their lives to this culinary craft.
Together, we have created a warm and inviting space where locals and visitors alike can come together, share a meal, and create lasting memories.
Fish n Chips is a kiwi classic; it brings families and friends together and it will always be a regular staple throughout the year no matter the weather.
We source the freshest fish supply from our trusted, sustainably sourced suppliers from across the country; from the East Coast to the Tasman Sea, to the South Islands West Coast and as far as the Chatham Islands.
